Ambrit Rome International School
PHILOSOPHY Ambrit International School was founded to provide an international education based on American and British approaches and techniques. The school's structure, programmes of study and activities foster the development of the whole child with opportunities for cognitive, aesthetic, physical and emotional growth. We encourage awareness and understanding of different cultures; inherent in this process is an appreciation of Italy, its language and its culture. We provide a rigorous academic curriculum which enables each child to reach his/her greatest potential in a stimulating and caring environment. Children are encouraged to develop their own sense of identity, self-esteem and independence. Our varied programmes stimulate the child's natural curiosity and lead to learning through discovery. Foreign language instruction is introduced at early age, providing communication skills necessary for children in an international setting. Co-operation amongst parents, staff, students and the community is encouraged. Children are taught to respect their natural environment and to develop an awareness of global issues.
